PRIVACY STATEMENT
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA FROM CUSTOMERS, SUPPLIERS AND OTHER CONTRACTORS
Please note that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because this is necessary to conclude and perform any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase business and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your data to send you an offer, to determine what specifications or wishes a certain item or service should meet, to deliver goods or perform work for you, to invoice you and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the execution aspects of the agreement.
If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of procurement, this is necessary to let you know what specifications or requirements a particular item or service should meet as far as we are concerned, to be able to send you a request for a quotation or place an order with you, to be able to pay your invoices and to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any or sufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities.
TRANSFER TO THIRD PARTIES:
In connection with the performance of any agreement with you, we may need to provide your personal data to parties that supply us with parts, materials and products or perform work on our behalf. Furthermore, we use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration, of which your personal data are a part. Your personal data are provided to our server space provider for this reason. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and its storage facilities for e-mails and other files. Finally, as we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data are passed on to the provider of this service with whom we have a processing agreement.
DIRECT MARKETING:
If you have requested information or a quotation, we will carefully store and use the personal data you have provided. We have a legitimate interest in using your personal data for this purpose, namely to personally inform you by e-mail about our existing and new products and services which may be of interest to you. Every time we send you a mailing, you have the option to let us know via an unsubscribe link.
RETENTION PERIOD PERSONAL DATA:
Quotations sent to you or received from you will remain in our system unless you object and/or indicate in writing that you do not want this. In addition, we apply the legal retention obligation of 7 years for our records. This falls within the retention obligation for the tax authorities.
YOUR RIGHTS:
You have the right to ask us to access your own personal data. If warranted, you may also ask us to supplement your personal data or to amend inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to ask us to delete your personal data or restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to our collection and use of your data or lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
